After the recent confirmation that Alex will race this year in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, he is pleased to announce that he will race in the series with the Italian team MRT Nocentini and with support from AST Suspension UK.
Based in Milan and previous winners in the NWES, Alex will drive one of their Ford Mustang stock cars as part of a two car team.
Alex will also be supported by AST Suspension UK, distributors for AST and Moton suspension products in the UK. They are responsible for everything from road and competition suspension kits to technical support, servicing and the production of bespoke dampers for any motorsport application.
Alex already has experience of AST’s suspension components as the Team Cooksport Renaultsport Clio he raced to second place in the Dubai 24 Hours, and then to victory at the Imola 12 Hours, was equipped with AST 5100 Series Dampers.

Being experts in suspension set up, hopefully, I can also learn a few tricks from them that will help me in NASCAR!”
Alex will head to Spain to join the team for their first test next week in preparation for the first round of the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series in Valencia (14th – 15th April).
